On the Live The Width of Your Life podcast, we explore what it means to not only live the length of our life but instead the breadth, depth, and purpose of each day.

She shares her personal story of creating balance in her life by aligning her daily choices to life values, strategies to redefine success, and creating space for a bit of magic and synchronicity.

It's never too late to change! We don't need to have it all figured out to begin; we can take action daily, show up imperfectly, and be amazed and inspired by how beautiful life can be.

Sometimes, the most unexpected encounters lead to the most meaningful conversations. I met Babita Sharma on a flight from Belfast to London, and from the moment we started talking, I knew our paths had crossed for a reason. We connected over our shared experiences of career transitions, identity, and the courage it takes to step into the unknown.

In this new podcast episode Babita—broadcaster, journalist, award-winning author, and documentarian—shares her powerful journey of reinvention. After 15 years at the BBC, covering major global events, she felt a deep pull to pivot, redefine success on her own terms, and embrace new creative outlets.

We talk about the struggles of seeking external validation, navigating dual identities as daughters of immigrants, and how storytelling has been a tool for both healing and transformation in her life.

If you’ve ever questioned your path or wondered if there’s more for you, this episode will inspire you to trust your intuition and take the leap.

In This Episode, We Discuss:

  • How Babita knew it was time to leave the BBC and trust her gut
